ABOUT

About me … and what has been going on …

Here is a little background about me.

So I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m a blogging or even sharing kind of person, but I feel the need to share my story now.

I have always been a sickly kind of person. If anyone would catch a cold at school, I’d be the next person to get it. I grew up just used to this and used to not feeling well and being in pain. It was my normal. However, in the last 10 years I have become increasingly more sick and fatigued, which eventually resulted in me passing out and getting a pretty bad concussion on my birthday in 2019. This altered my life and ever since then I have experiencing worsening health. I tried to ignore it and chalk it up to my lifetime of not feeling well, but then things took a very scary turn in November 2023 where I begun visiting the hospital more times than I can even remember and was eventually hospitalized for SIRS. Ever since then, I’ve had to make some tough decisions and have been trying to stay strong to figure out what is wrong with me.

So here we are, in present day. On this journey, we all call life, trying to figure out what it is that is making me so sick and unwell. I plan to use this blog mostly as a therapeutic tool for myself to share my thoughts but also to spread awareness about rare conditions, being your own advocate, and even tips for the U.S. healthcare system. I’m sure as I write, other thoughts about life, love, work, and more will pop up. So please bare with me and enjoy a little peak into my mind and life.
